Thai Massage is worked on a mat, on the floor. The receiver remains clothed during this session, as the focus is more about compressions, movement, and stretching. Your therapist will use their hands, feet, and knees to provide compressions to muscle groups, as well as stretching techniques to really loosen tissue and create better circulation and nerve communication. With good communication to your therapist, your session could be relaxing or therapeutic. It is a great alternative to deep tissue.
